A DHC8-Q300, converted by Universal Hydrogen, successfully completed its first flight, becoming the world’s largest flight-tested hydrogen electric airplane. A magni650 electric propulsion unit, provided with electricity by a hydrogen fuel cell system, was used to replace one of the airplane's two conventional turboprop engines.

The Eviation Alice successfully completed its inaugural flight, marking a historic milestone in aviation — a world first for a "clean sheet design" all-electric commuter plane, built from the ground up around the electric propulsion system.
